My technical interests combined with a motivation to positively effect society generally leads me to biomedical and defense applications. My undergraduate experiences, specifically the practice-oriented nature of the Northeastern co-op program, combined with the strong academia-industry relationships within CenSSIS, have driven me to want to work on sponsor-driven problems. One of the things I’ve most enjoyed is the opportunity to work on extensions and varied applications of the work. To be able to design my solutions so that they are reusable while still practical is a goal I bring to every technical problem I approach. I also have a strong interest in engineering outreach programs, specifically learning-through-service opportunities and the theory to practice concerns surrounding related engineering education research.

My current work includes feature selection, dynamic bayesian networks and topic modelling.
