Yousof Naderi is Principal Research Scientist at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Northeastern University, Boston and CEO/Co-founder of DeepCharge Inc., which is aiming to simplify and personalize charging experiences of electronic devices. He received his Ph.D. from the Northeastern University in December 2015.
Youosf is an entrepreneur, and his interests lie in research, product development, and commercialization of next-generation wireless charging technologies. He was the recipient of NEU Ph.D. dissertation fellowship in 2015, a finalist in the Bell Labs Prize competition in 2017, Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM) in 2018, and NEU GapFund360 award in 2019. In 2018, his spin-out company has been selected for YCombinatoer, and in 2019 for Creative Destruction Lab accelerator at NYU Stern School of Business. His research expertise lies in the design of software-defined wireless systems, energy harvesting, and building integrated embedded hardware & software solutions for next-generation cyber-physical systems. In these areas, he has co-authored numerous scientific journal and conference papers publications and has also been granted two US patents.
